Today more than ever, Easy Event Hosting® (EEH) believes that to be successful in business and in life, people need to connect together through face to face, in-person introductions. When it comes to professional or social etiquette, knowing a person’s name is the first and most important step. EEH streamlines the process of identifying, organizing, registering, greeting and seating guests/participants, creating the ultimate logistical, timesaving solution for event planners involved with large conferences, trade shows, symposiums, meetings and weddings.

Our vision is to facilitate connecting people at events by crafting beautiful, lightweight, portable and durable name badge and guest seating display board systems – including standard and custom-designs – that are priced fairly, guaranteed and made with quality and pride here in the USA. Our History

How we came to produce the BEST wedding seating boards and name tag organizer display boards.

A few years ago, we were challenged with planning registration for a large, 300-person event. We solved the problem of the usual bottleneck at the guest registration table with a prototype of the Name Tag Tamer®.

In his career as a fundraising and development officer, Brian Stenfors, one of the founders, also knew firsthand the challenges and frustrations that come along with planning large scale events that depend on facilitating personal introductions among guests and staff activities focused on “meet-greet-seat.” “I was one of the event planners responsible for seating hundreds of people for an early morning breakfast meeting. And we needed to find a way to do that quickly and efficiently.” Brian experienced an “aha!” moment; an idea was born. He reached out to his brother, Alan, an industrial designer educated at Rhode Island’s famed Institute of Design (RISD). Together they thought “what if we could take the concept from a simple felt panel to a multi-purpose, high-tech display board system that is attractive and easy to transport? This would give all kinds of companies and organizations the ability to glide through event registrations, without anyone getting bogged down with the process and losing their mind!”

The Stenfors brothers founded Easy Event Hosting® in 2014. The company set up manufacturing facilities in Massachusetts, with Alan as the lead designer while Brian headed up sales and customer service in California. In this way, the company could have an East and West coast presence. Over time, EEH has grown to become the only solutions-based resource of its kind in the trade show, conference and meeting arena. EEH offers elegant solutions that turn meeting mayhem into magic!

Brian shares that, “The true essence of “American-made” made products like our Name Tag Tamer™ is born out of a certain inventiveness. It’s an ability to solve problems with really practical pragmatic solutions. Anyone who’s done a start-up realizes there are peaks and valleys of everything that you do and every problem that is going to happen will happen. And you certainly need that American-made resilience to simply continue to solve problems and not to let all of the small things get in your way of actually accomplishing what you set out to do. So I think that’s the American spirit. It’s built into every EEH product we handcraft with the goal that you will benefit from the solutions we offer.”

Alan L. Stenfors earned a B.A. degree in industrial design from the Rhode Island School of Design. He has worked in various engineering and design capacities, including product designer, tooling engineer, chief engineer, technical sales engineer, and manufacturer’s representative in the plastic, metal components, custom equipment and design services arena. Alan was instrumental in obtaining patents for approximately 30 inventions for the companies he has worked for. He handles the production details of the Name Tag Tamer® and its ancillary products.

Brian D. Stenfors’ career spans over 30 years in the not-for-profit sector and he has extensive experience in fundraising, marketing, and communications. In the course of his career he has raised millions of dollars of venture capital from donors for the organizations for which he has worked. Brian is in charge of sales and business management. He recently completed the Women’s Economic Venture’s self-employment Course with honors. Brian received his B.A. degree from Wake Forest University, M.A. from Syracuse University, and Ph.D. from Drew University.
